The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an and Hub71 have partnered to boost social tech entrepreneurship in Abu Dhabi. The collaboration supports social startups with mentorship, resources, and the Social Certificate. Startups gain access to Hub71’s network and incentives, fostering local impact and global scaling, while shaping Abu Dhabi’s social tech ecosystem.

Abu Dhabi, 31 December 2024: The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an has partnered with Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s global tech ecosystem, to drive innovation in social tech entrepreneurship and create lasting social impact in the emirate.

Through a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Ma’an will provide tailored resources, mentorship, and support to social startups within Hub71’s network. Startups that meet Ma’an’s criteria for social impact will also be eligible for the Social Certificate, the first governmental recognition in Abu Dhabi for businesses contributing to social wellbeing and sustainable solutions.

The collaboration will also facilitate access for Ma’an-supported startups to Hub71’s ecosystem, enabling them to scale globally and leverage incentives such as in-kind and cash support, as well as connections to corporate, government, and investment networks.

To further bolster the sector, Ma’an and Hub71 plan to co-develop reports on Abu Dhabi’s social tech ecosystem, offering stakeholders valuable insights into funding, key players, and regulatory frameworks.

This partnership underscores Abu Dhabi’s commitment to fostering an inclusive, innovation-driven society, with Ma’an continuing to champion community wellbeing and social entrepreneurship.
