Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – September 16, 2024 – Kaspersky, a global cybersecurity leader, today announced the availability of its Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Security Assessment service in Saudi Arabia. This service is designed to help organizations in the Kingdom protect their critical infrastructure from cyber threats.
With over 15 years of experience in OT and ICS security, Kaspersky’s team of experts can identify and assess vulnerabilities in industrial control systems, including SCADA systems, physical security, and network security. The service provides clients with detailed reports and actionable recommendations to improve their security posture.
According to Kaspersky’s latest statistics, while Saudi Arabia has shown lower levels of exposure to cyber threats compared to other countries in the region, sectors like Construction, Oil and Gas, and Building Automation remain vulnerable. The primary threats are linked to unsecure employee behaviors and spyware.
“We are excited to bring our expertise in ICS security to Saudi Arabia,” said Mohamad Hashem, General Manager for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain at Kaspersky. “Our goal is to help organizations in the Kingdom protect their critical infrastructure from cyber threats and ensure their continued operations.”
