Mumbai, 24th July 2026: SME Chamber of India, one of the country’s leading industry bodies dedicated to the growth and development of the MSME sector, has appointed Jhumarmal Tunwal, Chairman and Managing Director of Tunwal E-Motors Limited (NSE: INE0OXV01027), as its Vice President. This prestigious appointment is a recognition of Mr. Tunwal’s significant contribution towards entrepreneurship, manufacturing excellence, electric mobility, and the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in India.
Under Mr. Tunwal’s leadership, Tunwal E-Motors has emerged as one of India’s rapidly growing electric two-wheeler manufacturers, recording revenues of over ₹275 crore and expanding its presence across the country. Through the establishment of two manufacturing facilities under the ‘Make in India’ vision, he has strengthened domestic manufacturing capabilities, advanced sustainable mobility, and generated employment opportunities.
As Vice President of the SME Chamber of India, Mr. Tunwal will actively work towards promoting entrepreneurship, supporting MSME development, advocating progressive policy reforms, encouraging technology adoption, facilitating access to finance, and strengthening the competitiveness of Indian enterprises in domestic as well as global markets.
The appointment was announced by Chandrakant Salunkhe, Founder & President, SME Chamber of India and Manufacturers & Exporters Association of India (MEAI).
