Bengaluru, July 6, 2026: Bluevine, one of the largest digital banking platforms serving small businesses in the United States, has announced the launch of its U.S. business banking solutions for eligible India-resident owners of U.S.-registered businesses. The move is designed to simplify cross-border banking by enabling Indian entrepreneurs operating U.S. entities to open and manage a U.S. business checking account through a fully digital onboarding process, eliminating the need for in-person visits to U.S. bank branches.
The expansion comes at a time when India has emerged as one of the world’s largest startup ecosystems, with an increasing number of technology companies, SaaS firms, AI startups, e-commerce businesses and IT service providers targeting the U.S. market from their earliest stages of growth. While business opportunities across the India-U.S. corridor have expanded significantly, access to U.S. banking infrastructure has remained a persistent challenge for many founders due to complex documentation requirements, fragmented onboarding processes and mandatory physical verification.
Bluevine aims to bridge this gap by providing a streamlined banking experience tailored for India-based entrepreneurs managing U.S.-registered companies.
Speaking on the launch, Aditya Narula, General Manager – India and General Manager of Global Lending & Credit at Bluevine, said that Indian entrepreneurs should be focused on building products, serving customers, hiring talent and expanding into new markets rather than navigating cumbersome banking procedures.
“Our commitment is simple: let the builders build. Entrepreneurs should spend their time growing their businesses instead of dealing with banking friction, paperwork and operational hurdles. Through this launch, we are bringing Indian businesses the same seamless and trusted banking experience that has helped companies across the United States grow with confidence,” Narula said.
The platform offers a range of digital banking services designed specifically for small businesses operating internationally. Customers can make and receive payments, manage cash across multiple entities, create virtual cards, handle cross-border transactions, pay bills electronically and oversee finances from a single dashboard.
Bluevine’s Business Checking accounts also offer interest-bearing deposits with annual percentage yields of up to 3 percent for eligible customers, along with free standard ACH transfers, no minimum balance requirements and no monthly maintenance fees under its Standard plan. The platform integrates with widely used financial and payment platforms including Stripe and Wise, allowing businesses to streamline financial operations across borders.
Deposits are held through Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC, with eligible funds insured up to US$3 million through Bluevine’s banking network, subject to applicable conditions.
India has become an increasingly important market in Bluevine’s global expansion strategy. The company established its Bengaluru operations in 2021, which has since grown into its largest global office, employing more than 200 professionals across engineering, product development, operations, customer support and business functions.
With the latest launch, India-based founders can complete their account application digitally, with most eligible businesses reportedly onboarded within 24 hours. Bluevine says it is already witnessing strong adoption among Indian companies operating in technology services, software-as-a-service (SaaS), artificial intelligence and e-commerce sectors that require efficient U.S. banking capabilities to manage receivables, operating cash and international payments.
Founded in 2013, Bluevine has built a significant presence in the U.S. small business banking sector. According to the company, it has served more than one million customers, facilitated over US$17 billion in lending, including loans under the Paycheck Protection Program, and currently manages more than US$2 billion in customer deposits.
The company has attracted investment from leading global venture capital firms and institutional investors, including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Menlo Ventures, 83North, Citi Ventures, ION Crossover Partners and Nationwide Insurance.
The launch reflects the growing demand for digital financial infrastructure that supports cross-border entrepreneurship, particularly as Indian startups increasingly establish U.S. entities to access global customers, venture capital and international markets. By removing traditional banking barriers, Bluevine seeks to provide founders with faster access to financial services that support international expansion and day-to-day business operations.
