Tawdheef x Zaheb 2024 is the UAE’s premier event for advancing Emirati employment and entrepreneurship. Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan, this event offers over 1,000 job opportunities and equips participants with skills to excel in a dynamic job market. With Emiratisation goals targeting over one million Emiratis in the workforce by 2030, Tawdheef x Zaheb is paving the way for meaningful careers and unprecedented opportunities in the private sector.

Abu Dhabi, November 20, 2024 – Tawdheef x Zaheb 2024, the UAE’s flagship event for workforce transformation and talent development, has set a global benchmark for employment policies and inclusive economic strategies. Offering over 1,000 job opportunities and cutting-edge training programs, this event is a prime example of aligning public and private sector collaboration to drive workforce growth and economic inclusion.

Running until November 21 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Tawdheef x Zaheb 2024 is not just about employment; it is a comprehensive platform for career empowerment, skills development, and global best practices in workforce readiness.

Campus to Career

Tawdheef x Zaheb 2024 offers more than career opportunities. The Speedy Knowledge Hub features quick, impactful sessions on topics like effective job hunting, personal branding, and salary negotiations. The Informa Connect Academy provides interactive workshops led by industry leaders, offering digital certifications to participants. One-on-one career counseling further equips job seekers with tailored advice, while mock interviews enhance their career readiness.

For young Emirati university students, the newly introduced ‘Campus to Career’ program aims to instill confidence and essential skills, bridging the gap between education and the workforce.

A Bold Vision for Workforce Transformation

The UAE Government’s Emiratisation agenda, which aims to integrate over one million nationals into the workforce by 2030, reflects a strategic and scalable approach to economic inclusion. Policies mandating annual 2% Emiratisation increases in private sector skilled roles, backed by financial incentives and penalties, are reshaping employment ecosystems.

These initiatives have already seen over 115,000 Emiratis employed in the private sector. With emerging industries like technology, renewable energy, and healthcare at the forefront, the UAE is creating pathways for inclusive employment while addressing global trends in workforce transformation.

Talent Development as a Catalyst for Economic Inclusion

Tawdheef x Zaheb 2024 places a strong emphasis on talent development, aligning with global best practices in skills training and workforce integration. The event features:

  • Tailored Training Programs: Focused on equipping participants with in-demand skills for emerging sectors.
  • Mock Interviews and Career Counseling: Offering real-time feedback to enhance career readiness.
  • Interactive Knowledge Hubs: Engaging sessions on topics such as personal branding and salary negotiation to foster professional growth.

By fostering technical and soft skills, the UAE ensures its workforce is prepared for the demands of a rapidly evolving global economy.

Public-Private Sector Collaboration: A Best Practice Model

With participation from leading organizations such as PwC, Halliburton, and the UAE Central Bank, Tawdheef x Zaheb exemplifies effective public-private sector collaboration. The event underscores the importance of aligning national workforce policies with private sector needs, creating a symbiotic ecosystem for job creation and workforce inclusion.

Key sectors identified for Emiratisation include technology, healthcare, finance, education, and manufacturing, providing a roadmap for other economies looking to implement similar employment strategies.

Global Lessons in Employment Policy Innovation

The UAE’s approach to Emiratisation offers valuable insights for policymakers worldwide. By integrating employment quotas, financial incentives, and skill-building initiatives, the nation has created a sustainable framework for workforce inclusion. The annual 2% Emiratisation target for private sector companies and penalties for non-compliance serve as accountability measures to ensure progress.

A Platform for Scaling Economic Inclusion

Tawdheef x Zaheb 2024 is not just a job fair; it is a global example of how strategic employment initiatives can drive economic inclusion. The event also highlights the role of technology and innovation in enhancing workforce participation, a theme of increasing relevance in today’s globalized economy.

Building Resilient Workforces for the Future

As economies worldwide face challenges in workforce integration and job creation, Tawdheef x Zaheb 2024 serves as a beacon for implementing scalable and inclusive employment policies. Its focus on skills development, public-private collaboration, and workforce readiness positions the UAE as a leader in global workforce transformation.

By fostering innovation and inclusivity in employment practices, the UAE provides a roadmap for nations and organizations aiming to create resilient and future-ready workforces.
