Currys Business Expands Business Hub Network to Strengthen Technology Support for UK SMEs

Posted on 16 July 202619 July 2026 By Svetlana M No Comments on Currys Business Expands Business Hub Network to Strengthen Technology Support for UK SMEs

London: Responding to the growing technology needs of Britain’s small and medium-sized enterprises, Currys Business has expanded its nationwide network of Business Hubs with the launch of 10 new locations across the United Kingdom. The expansion follows a 20 percent year-on-year growth in demand for its business services and increases the total number of Business Hubs to 70.

The move comes at a time when UK SMEs are navigating rising operational costs, accelerating digital transformation, and increasing pressure to improve productivity while managing cash flow. By strengthening its physical presence, Currys Business aims to provide businesses with easier access to expert technology advice, tailored purchasing solutions, and ongoing business support.

Located within existing Currys retail stores, the Business Hubs are designed to offer a dedicated space where organisations can consult Business Customer Managers for personalised guidance on technology investments, equipment selection, financing options, and digital solutions suited to their operational needs.

The newly opened Business Hubs are located in Durham, Tunbridge Wells, Doncaster, Huddersfield, Gloucester, Wolverhampton, Derby, Cheetham Hill, Watford, and Poole.

Local Expertise for Growing Businesses

The expanded network reflects the increasing importance of accessible, face-to-face advisory services for SMEs. Businesses visiting the new hubs can receive one-to-one consultations from experienced Business Customer Managers who work directly with organisations to understand their operational challenges and recommend practical technology solutions.

Currys Business also offers flexible payment options, including leasing services, 30-day credit facilities, and cost-spreading solutions, enabling businesses to invest in essential technology without significant upfront capital expenditure. The recently introduced leasing programme is expected to provide additional financial flexibility for businesses seeking to preserve working capital while upgrading their technology infrastructure.

Comprehensive Technology Solutions

The Business Hubs provide access to a broad portfolio of business technology products ranging from everyday office equipment to professional-grade solutions. Businesses can choose from Currys Business’ curated “Best for Business” product range, which includes laptops, networking equipment, point-of-sale (POS) systems, office appliances, connectivity solutions, and technology designed specifically for hospitality, retail, offices, and rental property management.

Beyond product sales, the hubs offer end-to-end support services including installation, device setup, technical assistance, and environmentally responsible recycling of obsolete equipment. These services are intended to reduce implementation time and minimise operational disruption for businesses adopting new technology.

Supporting Digital Transformation

The expansion forms part of Currys Business’ broader strategy to help SMEs make informed technology decisions while managing costs more effectively. By increasing the availability of local Business Hubs, the company seeks to improve access to specialist advice and encourage greater confidence in business technology investments.

Commenting on the expansion, Chris Williams, Director at Currys Business, said that SMEs continue to face growing pressure to balance operational efficiency with prudent financial management.

“SMEs are facing increasing pressure to manage costs, improve productivity and make the right technology decisions for their businesses. By expanding our Business Hub network, we’re bringing expert support closer to local communities, giving businesses access to practical advice, flexible solutions and dedicated Business Customer Managers who understand the challenges they face every day,” he said.

With over 30 years of experience serving SMEs and organisations across the UK, Currys Business continues to position itself as a technology partner offering expert advice, competitive pricing, flexible financing, and personalised support to help businesses invest in technology and drive sustainable growth.
